Fake Income Tax E-Verification Email – Beware of Impersonation Alert via Email

A New day and a new fraud. Recently a new fraud has come in the market where fraudsters have found new ways to defraud innocent people. One of the recent ways used by fraudsters is to send emails for e-verification. We want to alert you to an emerging problem that relates to recent spam emails that claim to be regarding e-verification. These fraudulent emails include a PDF attachment that, when opened, displays false personal data and offers a dubious link to a website called stylewellinteriors[dot]co[dot]in/ITR/ITR.html or some other similar link.
Please be alert that these emails are phishing attempts or scams and are not real. Such emails may be used to trick recipients and possibly gain unauthorised access to their computers or personal information.
We strongly advise you not to open any attachments or click on any links within such emails in order to protect your privacy and security online. Any email that requests private or delicate information should be handled with extreme caution. One of the images of recent fraud mail:

1. Avoid responding to the email or connecting with the sender.
2. Avoid downloading any attachments or clicking on any links.
3. If your email application allows it, mark the email as spam or fraud.

Remember that unless you initiated the request yourself and are abiding by established security protocols, legitimate organisations will never request personal information or login credentials via email. We strongly advise you to act right away if you accidentally clicked on the suspicious link or gave any personal information:
